Pal Jung Do Poomse

Patterns

Pal Jung Do poomse.

Pal Jung Do has been created by the WTA based on the principles of oriental philosophy and medicine. The oriental philosophy in Pal Jung Do in based on the concept of ' Do ' and how this relates to the function of ' Eum ' and ' Yang ' operating in the ' O-Heng ' . The oriental medicine principle uses breathing control techniques to strengthen the internal organs and the mind.

There are eight Pal Jung Do poomse, each pattern also incorporates it's own individual breathing technique to help the flow of 'Ki' to a different area of the body, this will then strengthen the mind and body of the martial artist.

There are eight different patterns to this style, which are listed below

Jung Shim            Virtuous Spirit

Jung Eui              Believe in each other and be loyal

Jung Shin            Trust

Jung Nyum          Virtuous Thought

Jung In                Generosity

Jung Hyo            Filial Piety - Respect your Parents, Elders,

                           Instructor and Master Always

Jung Heng         Virtuous Action

Jung Do             Virtuous Path
