Seminar on Saturday 28th of April 2007

 

On Saturday 28th of April Master Kim held a seminar in the Central Hall of the Dolphin Centre, Darlington, Kim Chungdokwan’s recently opened new dojang, After detailed explanation of the meaning of the Martial Art Way, ie. The Do (pronounced Dho). Master Kim carried out a detailed explanation of kicking techniques together with advice on specific exercises to prepare the body for kicking and control of energy.

This seminar was a great success. Attending Countries included England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales

On Sunday April 29th, Master Kim held the 19th Mudo Dan Grade at the Dolphin Centre. 

 

After the grading, Master Kim chaired a meeting. Some changes were made to the BTMA administration and some important information was disclosed.

Firstly, Master Kim promoted Master David Sutherill to be is personal assistant in the forthcoming programme of seminars and education of several proposed new member countries of the World Taekwonmudo Academy. a) Azerbaijan, b) Senegal, c) Ghana, with others to follow.

Master David Sutherill was also promoted to European Mudo Technical Director.

Master Ron Brennan has now taken on the role of the President of the English Taekwonmudo Academy

There will be a Mudo competition held in Paris in November of this year.

Scott McArthur, 4th Dan, was promoted to President of the Scottish Taekwonmudo Academy.
